Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
We are proud to be part of the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme. Our anti-bullying ambassadors team for 24-25 is:
Year 3
Year 4
Year 5
Year 6
We want to engage children and parents to change the behaviours, attitudes and culture of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations both on and off line.
We define bullying behaviour as: Repeated, negative and intentional
Bullying behaviour makes others feel upset, uncomfortable and unsafe
The bully is called the perpetrator and the victim is the target
It is bullying behaviour because it is a choice, can be challenged and it can change
Bullying behaviours:
Verbal: Unkind words directed at someone in person
Indirect: Unkind actions that happen behind someone's back/not to their face
Physical: Unkind actions that enter someone's personal space without their permission
As Bullying Ambassadors we will always
Say thank you for speaking out
Ask what has been going on
Do support them with their next steps
As bullying ambassadors we shall stick to the Diana Awards 3 golden rules
Work as a team
Always stay cool, calm and collected
Not keep secrets and tell trusted adults
