School Opening Times:

Monday-Friday 08.45-15.20 (32.5 hours per week)

Registration - 8.50am

Break time - 10.45-11.00am

Lunchtime - 12.00-13.00pm

Office Hours:

Monday-Friday - 08.00-16.00

Getting to School

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and not in front of the main gates where there are yellow zig-zag lines. There is parking available in our main school car park, which is located at the bottom of Scrivens Hill.

Drop-Off and Collection

At the beginning of the school day, all children are welcomed into school via the front or bottom gate. Children are encouraged to walk into school on their own and to put away their belongings. This helps to build independence from the start. There will be staff waiting at the main doors, ready to welcome children into school.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are collected from outside their classrooms. The children will be handed over by an adult to their parent or carer. Children from Years 3-6 will make their way to their parent or carer on the top playground. Class teachers are always available at the end of the school day for informal meetings or chats with parents or carers.
